JACKSON, N.J. -- New Jersey's Six Flags Great Adventure theme park plans to open what it says will be the world's first interactive gaming coaster adventure.
Riders of "Rage of the Gargoyles" will become virtual reality fighter jet pilots as they battle gargoyles.
The 1,377-feet of plunging and turning track features virtual reality headsets and high-definition imagery. Riders can instantly lock on a moving target by moving their heads.
The ride is scheduled to open on Sept. 24 at the amusement park in Jackson, New Jersey.
