Selma Blair takes responsibility for airplane outburst

Actress Selma Blair has taken full responsibility for her meltdown on a U.S. Delta airplane flight in June.

The Hellboy star mixed medication with alcohol during the flight from Cancun, Mexico to the U.S. and it caused a reaction that resulted in her being carried off the plane.

“I am someone who shouldn’t drink,” she said on U.S. chat show The Talk on Wednesday. “Someone gave me a pill of something I thought I had taken before.

“It was horrific and frightening. I actually had empathy for myself.”

She insisted she is fine now and that such an incident will never happen again. Selma also said she has since been offered a glass of wine but refused.

“I asked, ‘Have you Googled me?’”
