Nuns eating potato chips is a sacrilege in Italy. Religious fury was felt in Italy after a television commercial aired for Amica Chips that featured nuns snacking on potato chips for communion. In the advertising sport, nuns can be seen inside a convent giggling in delight after communion wafers are swapped out for potato chips by a superior figure. In the Catholic church, the communion wafer is believed to represent the body and blood of Christ, CNN reported.
