SLAYING SAINT CHRISTIAN? Will Gabby make the ultimate move on Survivor?

It’s time for some love.”— Host Jeff Probst previews this week’s episode As much as I love Christian, Gabby ousting her ride-or-die Christian would be epic television — and pretty rare in the reality TV world. Ponderosa Alert: As contestants get voted off the island in the jury phase, each week Survivor produces these incredible 10-minute videos of players getting weighed by Dr. Joe and visiting their new home: Ponderosa. At the ranch, they eat like pigs, look in the mirror for the first time, wax poetically about their Survivor experience and reconnect with the other players. They’re available on YouTube and I highly recommend them. In fact, I sometimes look forward to the Ponderosa instalments than I do exit interviews. Believe it or not, my favourite thus far was the Godfather, er, Carl’s. His wife even came to visit! Did You Know …. Last week’s evictee, Alec, will not be invited to the Survivor finale on Dec. 19? I had no idea Alec was in trouble before the season for posting a photo of Kara and himself on Instagram. A major no-no on Survivor. It’s too bad because he’s a fantastic player and personality. I guess this also means he won’t be playing the game again in the future. Alec’s Ponderosa episode was also a highlight. (Memo to Alec: grow back your stubble/beard, STAT!)
