Opinion: Alberta's child-care deal with Ottawa does nothing for most families
Regardless of what the politicians say, most Alberta families will not be better off because of the new federal-provincial $10-per-day child-care deal. In fact, the untold story of this deal to send $3.8 billion from the federal treasury to the Alberta treasury over five years is that most families in the province won’t benefit at all.
