Out-going Toronto FC 'keeper Alex Bono: 'My best years as a goalkeeper are still ahead of me'
Long-time Toronto FC goalkeeper Alex Bono is sad and disappointed to be leaving the Reds, but the Baldwinsville, N.Y., native also departs with his head held high and a belief that his best years as a MLS player are still ahead. The club’s two regular ‘keepers – Bono and Quentin Westberg – will be leaving the team as their contracts expired at the end of the 2022 season and TFC announced that they won’t be coming back.
