COVID-19 disrupts courts, stalls ongoing Toronto murder trial until June

A six-week-long double-murder trial in Toronto has been postponed until June 8 — meaning the juror members will be brought back into court after a two-and-a-half month hiatus — due to COVID-19. Ontario Superior Court Chief Justice Geoffrey Morawetz has suspended criminal and civil jury trials until the end of April.
