FATAH: Iran pouring fuel on Gulf waters
Following an unprecedented act of cyber warfare on the seas, at least six ships off the coast of the United Arab Emirates broadcast simultaneous warnings on Tuesday that they had lost control of their steering under unclear circumstances, as British authorities reported “a potential hijack” was underway in the area off the coast of Fujairah in the Gulf of Oman.

FATAH: Seeking a Caliphate instead of the Commons
In preparation for the National Summit on so-called Islamophobia last Thursday, the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) released a series of recommendations that reveal an agenda of separation, not integration.

FATAH: Climate change is real -- wake up
News that the mercury had hit almost 50 degrees Celsius in British Columbia reminded me of once reporting from Sibi in Balochistan in 1977 where it felt as if I was being ironed by a hot press. The skin sizzled under the unrelenting heat of the desert sun that blinded one despite the dark sunglasses and a make-shift hat for shade.

FATAH: Who will listen to the cries of ordinary Muslims?
I recently had an informal meeting with 30 other Muslims to chat about their growing concerns over the growing infiltration of Islamist extremism in this country. Here are excerpts of what some of these ordinary Muslims in Canada had to say.

FATAH: Canada's acts of goodness far outweigh the crimes of past generations
If the sanctimonious and self-righteous mainstream media is to be believed, many Canadians did not celebrate our national holiday, Canada Day. A Toronto Star columnist even exaggerated the sins of our country to ask readers “how can we sleep at night.”

FATAH: Saudi Arabia takes a step forward, as Iran moves backwards
When the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, challenged the fundamental precepts of Islamic Sharia in an interview on April 28 , the tremors were so deep, they left most Muslims and their clerics in a state of silent shock.

FATAH: There is no Islamophobia in Canada
Where else in the world would a Catholic prime minister, the leader of its right-wing Christian Conservative opposition, the left-wing party headed by a turbaned Sikh and the head of a separatist party join the city’s mayor, the province’s premier and tens of thousands of ordinary citizens to condemn the horrific mass murder of a Muslim family, allegedly at the hands of home-schooled Christian man?

FATAH: Muslims not safe in Canada? Nonsense
The horrific killing of an entire Muslim family, allegedly mowed down in London by 20-year-old Nathaniel Veltman has left all Canadians traumatised. We had barely absorbed news of 215 dead aboriginal children at a residential school in Kamloops, when we were jolted from our collective slumber by the reality of hatred and racism that simmers just below the surface of our contrived calm exterior.
