Prime Day is Amazon’s biggest sale of the year, offering exclusive deals and discounts for Prime members. The sale takes place annually in Canada, and typically runs for two days in the summer. Last year’s event saw major discounts on hot-ticket items like Apple products, Ninja appliances, gaming consoles, robot vacuums and more.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2025 in Canada?

In a big change for 2025, Amazon has officially announced that Prime Day will be four days long, running from July 8 – 11, 2025. The extended sale event is twice as long as last year’s sale, and kicks off on July 8 at 12:01 a.m. PDT (3:01 a.m. EST) and will offer Prime members the longest and most value-packed Prime Day in Amazon’s history.

Who can shop Prime Day deals?

To shop the best Prime Day deals, you’ll have to be a Prime member – sign up here if you haven’t already. You can also read more about what’s included in a Prime membership here. Sometimes Amazon offers sale events for everyone, like the Big Spring Sale we covered earlier this year, but only members will be able to take advantage of Prime Day deals.

If you’re not inclined to sign up for a membership, non-members can still score major savings throughout the rest of the year – check out our weekly article that features the best Amazon deals in Canada.

What will be on sale during Prime Day 2025?

According to Amazon, Prime members will be able to shop top brands “like Ninja, Philips, LEGO, Shark and Levi’s, plus find deals from both our Canada Showcase storefront and small businesses such as Cetaphil, Three Ships, Good To Go, All Natural Advice and Kidamento.”

There will also be additional incentives to take advantage of, as Amazon’s Giftmania returns with celebrity hosts Bret “The Hitman” Hart and Lilly Singh, offering Prime members a chance to win trips, tickets and top-brand prizes. Aeroplan and Prime members earn up to 10x points through the Aeroplan eStore on Prime Day and can enter to win one of 10 one-million Aeroplan point prizes.

Canada-exclusive Prime Day deals

Amazon continues to highlight Canadian products and brands with its Canada Showcase — a collection of home-grown products in one easy-to-navigate location. Since this is the first year that the Canada Showcase will be around during Prime Day, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for Canada-exclusive discounts and deals on popular local brands.
