Ben and Jessica Mulroney reportedly split after 16 years of marriage

Ben Mulroney and Jessica Mulroney are the latest high-profile couple to reportedly hit the skids.

The Canadian stylist, 45, who was spotted without her wedding ring, told friends about the split while attending a wedding solo in Toronto last month, the New York Post reported.

“They’re split. Jessica seemed sad, but also relieved to have some clarity,” a source told the outlet.

Another insider added that the couple separated “some time ago.”

The Toronto Sun reached out to Ben and his team for comment.

The couple have been married for 16 years and share three children — twin sons, Brian and John, 14, and daughter, Ivy, 12.

All three kids had roles in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2018 wedding, back when the Suits actress and Jessica were besties.

However, their friendship has since deteriorated, after Jessica was publicly accused of exhibiting “textbook white privilege” and “very problematic behaviour and antics” by lifestyle influencer Sasha Exeter.

Jessica initially apologized in a comment on Exeter’s video, but tensions escalated when Exeter later shared a private message from Jessica — a screenshot of Mulroney threatening a lawsuit.

In the wake of the controversy, Jessica’s television show I Do, Redo was pulled from CTV’s schedule and she later announced she was “stepping away” from professional commitments, including her contributor role on Good Morning America.

In October 2020, Jessica appeared to reference the fallout from the scandal when she posted an Instagram photo of herself kissing Ben.

“After a few rough months, something to FINALLY celebrate,” she captioned the post.

“Thank you for being by my side, Benny. Thank you to our true friends for sticking by us. We could have never made it without you,” Jessica continued.
