Others agreed that Murray was right to say something, noting “boundaries,” while one commented, “I’m on Bill’s side, like damn, give the guy some space.”
The clip of the incident emerged days after Murray sparked outrage when he forcibly kissed Naomi Watts during their joint appearance on Monday’s episode on Watch What Happens Live!’s.
The pair were promoting their new film The Friend, which comes a decade after their first project together, St. Vincent.
Watts was asked to name her “best onscreen kiss,” but before she could answer, Murray leaned over, tipped the actress’ head back and planted one on his co-star’s lips.

Murray then gave a thumbs-up to the camera.
“You’ve got lipstick on your face,” Watts said, shaking her head and pointing to Murray’s mouth before she asked: “OK. Did I go red?”
