TMZ reported on Thursday that former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel and Josie Canseco — daughter of controversial ex-MLB slugger Jose Canseco — have called it quits in their relationship.

According to the report, Josie ended things with Manziel after dating for less than a year.
Sources told the outlet that while Manziel was a great partner to the model, it was clear to her that he had some work to do on himself.

Both the 28-year-old model and 32-year-old former first-round NFL draft pick have unfollowed each other on Instagram and have scrubbed their accounts of all traces of their relationship.
Despite the social-media cleansing, there reportedly are no hard feelings between the two and they still have a lot of love for each other.
When their reps were contacted for comment by Page Six, they did not immediately respond.
Canseco had told the outlet in November that she was focusing on family around U.S. Thanksgiving after being spotted with Manziel at a Halloween party a few weeks prior.
“Focusing on family right now. Family for sure is just a priority,” she said at the time.
“Holidays get tough for some people. That’s the one time I like to bring my family together and make sure everyone is (focused on) love, family, friends, relationships, everything. I just want to keep it as close as possible.”
Josie, a model with more than 1.2 million followers on Instagram, soft-launched her romance with the quarterback in April 2024, posting a snap on her Instagram Stories showing her in an airplane seat with her legs atop a mystery man’s lap.
A few weeks later and after much speculation that the male companion in question was the oft-troubled quarterback, Josie confirmed his identity by sharing PDA-packed photos from Stagecoach Festival.
Manziel, better known as Johnny Football, played just two seasons with the Cleveland Browns after being drafted 22nd overall in 2014.
He later resurfaced in the CFL in 2018, playing for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Montreal Alouettes.
Manziel has a history of substance abuse leading to several off-field controversies and run-ins with the law.
He previously had been married to Bre Tiesi, a star of reality TV show Selling Sunset, from March 2018 to November 2021.
