Denise Richards claims Aaron Phypers tried to kill her during marriage

Denise Richards is making shocking allegations against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers.

The 54-year-old actress and reality star was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Phypers, 49, after she accused him of several violent altercations, TMZ first reported.

The Wild Things star shared alleged photos and details, including him threatening to kill her and himself if she ever reported him to police, according to court documents obtained by People magazine.

“Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages,” Richards alleged in the bombshell court documents.

“Aaron regularly threatened to ‘break my jaw’ and would cry, beg me to stay, and promise to get help — none of which ever happened.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum also claims the businessman bruised her eye during one of his attacks in 2022.

Richards alleges in the docs that she and her ex were at his Malibu, Calif., workplace when he “became paranoid” that the plants he purchased “contained listening devices.”

The mom of three then accused Phypers of calling her a “f***ing bitch” while hitting her in the eye with the palm of his hand.

Richards included photos of her bruised face, which was the result of Phypers’ alleged abuse.

Richards’ court documents cite July 4 as the date of the most recent alleged assault, with the actress claiming she asked Phypers and his family to move out of townhomes she had leased.

The Drop Dead Gorgeous actress alleged that Phypers “grabbed both of my arms forcefully and pushed me and dragged me to the ground. I landed hard on the stairs causing me immense pain.”

When she threatened to call the police on July 5, Richards claimed Phypers said, “I would like to see the cops take me away, I will blow everything up if they try.”

She noted that her estranged husband “owns at least eight unregistered guns” and “multiple bulletproof vests.”

Phypers, the founder of a Malibu holistic healing centre, filed for divorce from the former Bond girl on July 7, listing July 4 as the date of their separation and citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

They have been married for six years.

He has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Richards and her property, including her home and vehicle.

Their next restraining order hearing is scheduled for Aug. 8.
