The Toronto rapper has tapped the Great One, Wayne Gretzky, to model threads from upcoming new additions to his OVO line of clothing. This comes after music superstar enlisted former Olympic gold medalist Ross Rebagliati for his recent sweats collab with Roots.

Drake shared a photo of Gretzky sporting his classic OVO owl hoodie to his official Instagram with the caption “99.”
Predictably, sports stars reacted enthusiastically with Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watts commenting, “The Great One” followed by the hashtag “#Legend.” Former Toronto Raptor Terrence Ross echoed Watts’ remark with a goat emoji, while Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant weighed in simply with the words, “The greatest.”
Jaleel White, who played Steve Urkel on the sitcom Family Matters, chimed in dubbing Gretzky the “Goat in a coat.”
The official Twitter account for Fans also endorsed Gretzky’s new look, with one calling it, “The greatest collab of 2020,” while another wrote, “Great one wearin’ a great one.” But one follower jokingly took a dig at Gretzky’s music acumen, writing, “Wayne Gretzky in OVO gear is the biggest collaboration with a musician he’s had since his cameo in the Rockstar by @Nickelback.” In addition to running his own clothing brand, Drake regularly joins forces with other designers for limited-run collections, including his recent sold out collection with Roots, Canada Goose, Dsquared2 and Takashi Murakami. He also has footwear deals with Clarks and Timberland.
