According to Complex, the Toronto rapper will launch his first sneaker collaboration with Nike early next year. Drake has been affiliated with the brand in the past, notably lending his owl logo for a series of specially released Air Jordan products, including shoes, sweats and a coveted purple and red edition Air Jordan 4s that celebrated last year’s championship run by the Raptors.
The news was first reported on Instagram by @zsneakerheadz, which provided a mockup, hinting that Nike will “potentially” release an Air Force 1 alongside Drake’s OVO brand in 2021.
