It’s good thing that her love doesn’t cost a thing because Jennifer Lopez may be back on the block.

According to Page Six, Lopez and fiance Alex Rodriguez are calling it quits.  “He’s in Miami getting ready for baseball season and she’s filming her movie in the Dominican Republic,” a source told the website.

After Rodriguez’s romantic beach proposal in March 2019, the couple was set to get married last year, but their nuptials were delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.

“I’m a little heartbroken because we did have some great plans, but I’m also like, you know what, God has a bigger plan and we just have to wait and see,” Lopez, 51, said during an appearance on the Today show last May. “Maybe it’s going to be better? I have to believe that it will be.”

According to Page Six, the couple split up after the former New York Yankee was linked to reality star Madison LeCroy. In February, the Southern Charm cast member told Page Six she had FaceTimed with Rodriguez, but they had not met in person.

“He’s never physically cheated on (Lopez) with me,” LeCroy said.

But the source said that the scandal left Lopez “embarrassed.”

“This has been a long time coming,” a source told People. “They are tied in their business worlds so it’s not a cut and dry break up. It’s taken a while for them to even think about untangling it all.”

Last month, in an interview with Allure magazine, Lopez revealed the couple, who were both parents to two children, underwent therapy together.

“At the start (of the pandemic) we were all filled with anxiety,” she said. “We were all in the Twilight Zone like everyone else.

“We never get to do stuff like that (together). I was trying to take advantage of the time. We got to work on ourselves. We did therapy. I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship.”

The marriage wouldn’t have been the first for either person. Lopez had been married three times and was engaged to Ben Affleck, while Rodriguez, 45, was married for three years to Cynthia Scurtis.

In 2018, Lopez told People that the relationship had come at a time in her life where she could truly cherish it.

“We love each other and we love our life together,” the pop star said. “The exciting part of our love is that we’re both very aware of how lucky we are to have found each other.”
