Chastain, 44, also addressed the steamy embrace by sharing a still from The Addams Family in which Gomez Addams — who Isaac, 42, voices in the animated version — kisses Morticia’s arm, along with the date Scenes From a Marriage releases.
Reaction to the intimate moment dominated social media for days, with AJ+ journalist Sana Saeed writing, “We were all blessed to learn no one will ever look at us the way Oscar Isaac looks at Jessica Chastain.”
The upcoming limited series, which debuts this Sunday on Crave, reunites the longtime friends, who were classmates at New York’s Julliard arts school and starred together in 2014’s A Most Violent Year.

“We got to the point where we were reading each other’s minds and I was like, ‘get out of my head!’ I felt on this job there was no quiet time,” Chastain said.
But the familiarity the two have with one another made the work enjoyable.

So I knew it was basically just acting with Oscar.”
