To mark their young daughter’s birthday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared special photos of Princess Lilibet for the world to see — even posting a somewhat cringy delivery room video.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s daughter turned four on Wednesday. To mark the occasion, Markle posted a series of pictures featuring daddy and daughter and mommy and daughter.
“The sweetest bond to watch unfold. Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!” says a caption on the 43-year-old’s Instagram account along with photos of Lili being held by Prince Harry when she was a baby and of the dad and daughter barefoot and walking hand in hand along a beach trail a few years later. That image appears to have been taken in their home state of California.

Princess Lilibet was born in California on June 4, 2021, making it a four-person family in addition to their son Prince Archie, who is now six years old.
Earlier Wednesday, the Duchess of Sussex shared a pair of black and white images of her and Lili. The first image seems to have been taken on a boat, while the second photo is of Lili being held as a newborn.

“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives — and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all those sending love and celebrating her special day!”
Markle also posted a video of her and Prince Harry dancing inside what appears to be a delivery room while she was pregnant.

“Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates … so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work there was only one thing left to do,” says a caption alongside a video of the two dancing to a song featuring the lyrics: “Been pregnant for way too long.”
