“I do a lot of FaceTime sex – it’s the safest sex. I’m not getting COVID,” she said during an appearance on the Howard Stern Show this week. “I am definitely not going to be doing anything that’s irresponsible for myself or for other people … it’s just ridiculous for anybody that won’t take the right precautions to keep each other safe. It’s f—ed up.”
Since her brief 2018 Christmas marriage to Liam Hemsworth ended in 2019, Cyrus has dated reality star Kaitlynn Carter and Aussie singer Simpson. Newly single, Cyrus told Stern that “dating or meeting people” during lockdown has been “really interesting and challenging.”

Elsewhere in the interview with Stern, Cyrus opened up about her short-lived marriage to Hemsworth, telling the shock jock that she was driven into the union following a 2018 wildfire that destroyed their California home.
“Me being an intense person and not wanting to sit with it and not wanting to go, you know, ‘What could be purposeful about this?’ I just clung to what I had left of that house, which was me and him and I really do and did love him very, very, very much.”
But the marriage was fraught from the beginning, with Cyrus suggesting the couple was in constant conflict. “When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone,” she said. “I don’t get off on drama or fighting.”
Cyrus, who released her seventh studio album Plastic Hearts last month, also posed nude for a recent cover story in Rolling Stone.

In one of the photos posted to her Instagram, Cyrus is seen flashing her breasts and sticking out her tongue. “THEY TOLD ME I SHOULD COVER IT SO I WENT THE OTHER WAY,” she captioned the image.
On the cover, Cyrus clasps her hands over her breasts, while in another snap she strategically squats with her knee covering up her body. “I’M COMPLETELY NAKED BUT I’M MAKING IT FASHION,” she exclaimed sharing one of the photos to her Instagram.
With an album cover shot by Mick Rock, a famed photographer who has taken iconic images of David Bowie, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, and Debbie Harry, Plastic Hearts is infused with ’80s rock sounds and features collaborations with Billy Idol, Joan Jett and Dua Lipa.
“She’s super f—ing hot,” Cyrus told Stern of her video for Prisoner, which co-stars Lipa. “But see, that isn’t it for me. That’s not what turns me on. She has a boyfriend, I’m free and can do whatever the f— I want which feels great for the first time in years and years.”
