On Monday, Britain’s Daily Mail published several images of singer Cassie Ventura that show what looks like a black eye and contusions on her forehead.
According to the report, the photos were taken in January 2013 when the couple arrived to a party in Kingston, Jamaica.
The images show Ventura wearing sunglasses to the event while it was dark outside.
Ventura, 38, was in a long-term relationship with the hip hop mogul from 2007 to 2018. Last November, she filed a lawsuit that alleged a “cycle of abuse, violence and sex trafficking” at the hands of Combs.
The lurid details in the filing included allegations of weekly “freak offs” shortly after they started dating where Ventura claimed the rap impresario forced her to have sex with Black male prostitutes. She also accused him of rape when she tried to leave him in 2018.

A day later, an out-of-court settlement was announced by their legal reps.
In May, CNN obtained security camera footage from a Beverly Hills hotel that showed Combs, wearing a white towel, punching Ventura and throwing her to the ground before kicking and stomping her. He acknowledged the assault in a video message and apologized for his actions.
Combs, 54, is currently facing criminal charges following allegations he coerced and abused women for years. He was also hit with lawsuits this week that accused him of raping women, sexually assaulting men and molesting a 16-year-old boy dating back to the mid-1990s.
The lawsuits were filed by unnamed accusers to protect their identities.
Combs has denied all allegations.
He is locked up at a Brooklyn jail while awaiting trial for the criminal charges in May.
