Don’t ask Piers Morgan if Ross and Rachel were on a break — he doesn’t care.
After the highly-anticipated Friends: The Reunion special hit HBO Max and Crave last week, the British TV personality bashed the beloved sitcom that ran for 10 seasons and starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry.
Sharing his son Spencer’s tweet that poked fun at people who “think you’re too clever to like Friends,” Morgan, 56, doused water on the never-ending hype surrounding the get-together.

“Yes!” Aniston exclaimed, agreeing with Schwimmer’s assessment last year when he told Jimmy Fallon, “It’s not even a question. They were on a break.”
Meanwhile Morgan, who was ousted from Good Morning Britain earlier this year after he voiced doubt over Meghan Markle’s claims she felt suicidal as a member of the royal family, told the Daily Mail’s Jan Moir that he’s in the midst of a big comeback.
“If Meghan thinks she has cancelled me or won the battle, she is in for a big shock. I’ve never been more popular.”
To prove his point, Morgan is now taking on tennis star Naomi Osaka, who courted her own controversy when she said she will not participate in any interviews during the current French Open.
“She has no problem with the media lauding her undeniable brilliance with a tennis racquet, right to the point they say anything negative,” he wrote in his column for the Daily Mail on Monday. “This is straight out of the Meghan and Harry playbook of wanting to have the world’s largest cake and eating it, by exploiting the media for ruthlessly commercial self-promotion but using mental health to silence any media criticism.”
