The 42-year-old star of The O.C. admitted she was being “judgmental,” particularly because there are “totally respectable” reasons why a guy may not have been with a lot of partners, but said she would be reluctant to date someone who didn’t have a lot of sexual experience in “this day and age.”

“This is going to sound so like judgmental, but if a dude is like in his 40s and he’s slept with four women … [I would find it] a little weird,” Bilson said in conversation with her co-host Olivia Allen and the podcast’s producer Rob Holysz.
Although she didn’t know if she would ask the question of a perspective partner, she was quick to add that men who have been in long-term relationships have a valid reason for their low totals. “When people should be dating so much like let’s say in their 20s, I was in a relationship all my 20s,” she said, referring to her 10-year relationship with actor Hayden Christensen.
“Maybe he’s been in decade [long] relationships, totally respectable. But if he’s single in his 40s and it’s only four and he’s never been in [a] long term [relationship], that’s an issue,” she said.

But Bilson’s stance irked Whoopi Goldberg who took the mother-of-one to task over her comments on a segment of Thursday’s episode of The View.
“I’m sorry, I think it’s very odd that you’re concerned that he’s had sexual partners — any sexual partners. Why is it your business?” co-host Goldberg said during a Hot Topics segment on the issue. “If he’s happy with you and you’re having a good time, why are you bitching?”
The Hart of Dixie alum is no stranger to sharing intimate details about her sex life.
Earlier this year, she revealed on her podcast that she has “never faked an orgasm.”
“I didn’t have a vibrator until I was in my mid-30s. I hadn’t even tried a toy [until then], and it was given to me as a gift. And then it was like, ‘Oh, this is easy!’“

Bilson also said she lost work after confessing she wanted to be “f—ing manhandled” during sex.
“I like missionary,” she said on the Women on Top podcast, before adding, “I’ve learned that if you want to have an orgasm during sex, you have to be on top. But missionary is my favourite. I want to be f—ing manhandled.”
“I basically got a job, that I already had, pulled from me because I was speaking openly about sex,” she said on a subsequent episode of Broad Ideas.
