Tommy Lee’s cleanliness routine is leaving some fans holding their nose after his wife revealed the rocker only showers “once a week.”
“It’s funny because the guys that I’ve dated before him were very messy, and that’s a big yucky for me,” Brittany Furlan admits on a new episode of the Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe podcast. “I’m like, so clean. My house looks like a f***ing museum… My husband’s very neat, which people wouldn’t expect from someone who’s a musician. They would expect him to be a f***ing nightmare, like, dirty.”

But the 38-year-old comedian and former reality star then went on to add that Lee, 62, “doesn’t shower a lot.”
Furlan said the Motley Crue drummer’s poor hygiene habits were due to the fact that he grew up in Athens, Greece.
“He said growing up… that that’s a thing in Europe. You don’t need to shower every day,” she said. “They would just do the white washcloth if they felt like they were getting a little funky. My husband showers, like, once a week.”
When Bristowe asked if she ever gets “the ick” from Lee’s reluctance to bathe, she was quick to say it wasn’t a turnoff.
“No, because he’s so handsome. It’s really crazy,” Furlan said. “He’s a really good-looking guy. He doesn’t really give me the ick.”
In her conversation with Bristowe, Furlan opened up on her own bathing habits, saying she washes her hair once a week.
“This hair is so thick so I wash the hair like once a week, and then I shower every night,” Furlan said.
The former Vine star also gave a glimpse of what her life is like married to Lee.
“Every night’s a date night. We have so much fun,” Furlan said. “He’s also my best friend.”
On social media, fans were revolted by Lee’s showering habits. “I’m sorry but that’s gross – you need to shower daily – that’s just gross,” one person wrote on X, with another adding, “That’s just nasty.”
‘Why would she admit this?” a third person asked.
Furlan and Lee started dating in 2017 after they met on the celebrity dating app Raya.
“I matched with him and he was just so persistent,” she recalled on the How to Talk to Girls podcast. “He was just like, texting me every day, and being like, ‘Hey, what are you doing?’ … He was just so nice.”
The pair were married two years later on Valentine’s Day. “It’s official!!!! We’re married!!! MR & MRS LEE YAHOOOOOOOO,” Furlan shared in an Instagram post at the time, with Lee replying, “Holy s***balls!!!! We did it!!!! Mr & Mrs Lee.”
Last year, in an interview with PEOPLE, Furlan said Lee is “the first guy that treats me so well.”
“He just does all these really sweet things and I’ve never had anyone do that for me before,” she said. “I can’t believe now when I look back on all of the bad relationships that I was in.”
She also shared on the podcast How to Talk to Girls that Lee is “a good partner.”
“He’s great and so loving and so supportive and … such a good partner, honestly,” she said. “Once you kind of find someone you feel safe with, that kind of changes everything.”
Lee’s relationship with Furlan has been endorsed by his ex-wife Pamela Anderson, to whom he was married to from 1995 to 1998.
“She’s good to him and I totally support that and think that’s great,” the Baywatch alum said last year on the Howard Stern Show. “I hate to be annoying and going through this again, I’m sure she’s annoyed, but I respect their relationship and just glad he’s happy and has someone in his life.”
