The anti-LGBT+ evangelical group is boycotting the fourth instalment of the beloved Disney movie franchise, Toy Story, because of two short scenes that feature a lesbian couple dropping a child off at school and later picking the child up for a hug, Pink News reports.

In light of the “dangerous” movie scene, 1MM has started a campaign boycotting the film called “Disney Blindsides Families with Lesbian Scene in Toy Story 4.”
“So many families probably plan on seeing this movie if they haven’t already and will be blindsided by this subtle but obvious promotion of the LGBTQ lifestyle,” Monica Cole, spokesperson for 1MM said in the campaign’s statement.
The campaign includes a petition people can sign meant to demonstrate the distrust they feel towards Disney because of the scene. It currently has close to 13,000 signatures.

In explaining why the move blindsides viewers, Cole noted, “The scene is subtle in order to desensitize children. But it is obvious that the child has two mothers, and they are parenting together.”
“Disney has decided once again to be politically correct versus providing family-friendly entertainment,” adding “Disney should stick to entertaining instead of pushing an agenda and exposing children to controversial topics.”
This isn’t the first time 1MM has taken issue with a scene featuring a same-sex couple, as they called for Arthur, a PBS show, to be canceled after it depicted a same-sex wedding.
