Avril Lavigne had an all-star Canadian weekend partying with Drake at his Young Money Reunion concert, hanging with Nelly Furtado at Lady Gaga, and then dancing the night away to Shania Twain.
Drake, 35, posted a photo of himself with the Sk8er Boi singer and fellow Canadian Fefe Dobson, 37, at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage Saturday night, captioning the pic, “Dreeeeaamy.”

The self-proclaimed Certified Lover Boy fanboyed over Lavigne, 37, earlier this year when he posted a photo of her 2002 Let Go album to his Instagram Story in February.
In 2013, Lavigne revealed the Toronto rapper was a big fan of hers.
“I was watching Katy Perry last night, and Drake was there watching,” she told E! News at the time. “He was so excited to meet me. He said, ‘I listened to you growing up.’ And I go, ‘Oh, my God! How old are you?’ He goes, ’26. You hold a very special place in my heart.’”
But Drake was just the tip of the iceberg for Lavigne and Dobson. The pair also hung out with B.C.-born Furtado at the Lady Gaga concert at Rogers Centre (on the same night, no less).
Then the duo took their roadshow north of Toronto to party with country legend Shania during her headline set at Sunday evening’s Boots & Hearts festival near Orillia.
Twain shared a reel of the pair dancing side stage to Any Man of Mine and a photo of the two of them meeting backstage.
“Look who came to @bootsandhearts!!” Twain, 56, captioned her Instagram post that has garnered more than 81,000 likes. “I’m so happy I got to spend some time with @avrillavigne yesterday. So fun to see the videos of the girls partying side of stage, love it!”
Lavigne commented on the post, writing, “Shania — you put on the most spectacular show of all time! So wonderful to spend time together.”
On social media, fans hailed the meeting as another iconic Canadian moment.
“How much more Canadian can you get than @avrillavigne and Fefe belting @shaniatwain,” one wrote, with another fan calling the meet-up “the photo op I didn’t know I needed!”
“Avril’s been to all the best concerts the last week,” a third chimed.
Her Boots & Hearts appearance was Twain’s first show in Canada since the pandemic began in 2020.
The Ontario-born Up! singer said it was special to be back in her “homeland” after her performance.

“Well… where do I even start!? @bootsandhearts was wild… for many reasons!! It felt soooo good to be back in my homeland… even with the severe thunderstorms trying to ruin our fun,” she wrote. “But no amount of rain was going to stop our kick-ass party!! Thank you to every single one of you for your energy – what a night!”
Lavigne shared a slideshow of her epic weekend to her own Instagram, which also included a snap with rapper Lil Wayne, with the caption, “What an incredible weekend of music and friends.”
Lavigne gave us all early 2000s vibes in May when she took to the Junos stage to perform a medley of her biggest hits, including Complicated, Bite Me, Girlfriend, Sk8ter Boi and I’m With You.
But details on how she plans to close out the summer are still being ironed out.
