The auction is Canada’s most successful charity wine auction and has raised more than $1.8 million for humanitarian and environmental programs throughout the globe.
The starting bid for the guitar is $25,000 and it’s expected to fetch between $50,000-$100,000.
The auction includes 60 “dream lots” featuring once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, including dinner with Lee and Lifeson at Barberian’s Steak House, Blue Jay legend Jose Bautista, Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy and Colin Cripps, and also Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys joined by Lee and Lifeson.
Other items include 47 autographed bottles by Lee, two bottles autographed by Lee and Lifeson, and one bottle autographed by The Tragically Hip.
Registration is open at wine.waddingtons.ca and closes on April 22 at 7 p.m. ET.
This year’s auction is held in partnership with Waddington’s Auctioneers, with proceeds going to both Tree Canada and the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
