Twenty One Pilots have cancelled a show as it will clash with the Toronto Raptors’ NBA Finals match in the team’s Scotiabank Arena.
The Raptors defeated the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, meaning they will compete against the Golden State Warriors in a seven game series for the National Basketball Association title.
However, the Raptors’ success has come at a cost to fans of the U.S. rockers, as they have had to cancel the second of two shows in Toronto on Wednesday, as the first Finals’ match will take place there the following day.
Confirming the cancellation, the band tweeted: “Congrats @Raptors on making the finals. This means we have to cancel night number two of our Toronto shows for the @NBA to have arena access. @TicketmasterCA will be reaching out to night two ticket holders while we try to find more seats for night one.”
