Rival rapper charged in shooting death of Tan DaGod

Rapper Alliauna Green probably didn’t think death and danger were lurking in the shadows when she invited fans to a meet and greet at an Oakland beauty parlour.

But the 27-year-old — who goes by the stage name Tan DaGod — was shot and killed at the July 13 event.

Now, cops say they have arrested fellow rapper Dominic Gates and charged him with murder.

Before the shooting, Tan DaGod hung out with fans at Glamor Beauty Supply. Then, at its conclusion, the gunfire started and she was cut down outside the store. She died at a local hospital.

Gates, 30, is a fellow Oakland rapper best known by his stage name BNC4Nero.

A second person was also taken to hospital with a gunshot wound and was in stable condition, according to media reports.

So far cops have been tight-lipped on the motive for the shooting.

Tan DaGod released an EP last September titled Ex Wood Pack and was best known for tracks like Thats My Ex Pack, He Say IM Kold, I Need Therapy, and Fake from Me. BNC4Nero had one single on streaming platforms entitled No Way Out.

On her Instagram promo for the event, the tragic rapper captioned it: “4013 TELEGRAPH OAKLAND CA !’ JULY 13th ! The Cott & I Will be there from 12-1 please be on time if you wanna meet & Greet & see the Cott live.”

Now, her devoted fans are flooding her final post with condolences.

“I keep coming to your page. I’ve never seen your story this short. I am truly broken into a million pieces bro I’m so sad. This can’t be true,” one comment read.

Another read: “This is extremely sad! May she rest in peace (dove emoji) condolences to her family.”

Fans also laid flowers on the ground outside of the business where she was murdered.
