Toronto Sun readers had a lot to say about Joe Rogan’s recent comments about Canada being “communist.”
Rogan, the podcast star and UFC presence, has been outspoken about his dislike for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. “They’re f—-d.! They gotta get rid of that guy (Trudeau) .. I used to like him, then during the pandemic I was like “Oh your a f—-n dictator,” Rogan said that on a recent podcast with comedian Tom Segura.

“They gotta get rid of that guy,” Rogan said. “He’s gross. He’s a sketchy guy. He’s got some f—ing shaky deals. I would like to see where the money is coming from. Why do you want everyone to get injected every four months? We don’t need that anymore.”
A tweet by the Toronto Sun about the comments has drawn over 6,000 retweets and 34,000 likes in four days.
Many readers said Rogan had “hit the nail on the head.”
Reaction on the Sun‘s Facebook account was similar. There were hundreds of comments about Rogan’s thoughts. “It’s scary that the outside sees what’s going on, but the inside hasn’t a clue 🤔” said one commenter. One cautioned Rogan that he’d better be careful, lest Trudeau might seize his bank accounts.

Not all are Rogan supporters, though. One respondent said: “I’m not a fan of Trudeau, but Joe Rogan is the worst podcaster and comedian on the planet. I’d rather watch old reruns of the Beverly Hillbillies. He interviews people without doing any reading up on his actual guests.” Many other comments read about the same, taking Rogan to task for not knowing enough about what he’s talking about, a familiar complaint about the podcaster.
On Reddit, a post said: “The clip is incredible. In 16 seconds, Joe Rogan says: Canada’s communist, they’re (f…d). I honestly don’t know anything about their system, never read into it. Nothing at all.”
