Taylor Swift has been visiting sports stadiums for months as part of her hot-ticket Eras Tour but Sunday’s visit to Arrowhead Stadium had nothing to do with her music and seemingly everything to do with her love life.
And all of it just might break the internet.

Yes, that was Tay-Tay, spotted in a private box at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon as the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Chicago Bears in NFL action. And, yes, she was cheering on the Chiefs alongside none other than Donna Kelce, who just so happens to be the mom of Travis Kelce, who just so happens to be rumoured to be romantically linked to the 12-time Grammy winner.
On The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday Travis Kelce went public with the fact he’d invited the superstar singer to Sunday’s game.
“I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, maybe you can come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead,” he said.
The invite was clearly successful as Swift cheered from inside the same venue she’d performed at earlier this summer.
The Tay-Tay touchdown all but confirmed the love-life chatter that has dominated headlines. If Swift isn’t dating Kelce, the Chiefs star tight end, she probably wouldn’t be hanging out with his mom, right?
And she also might not have been cheering wildly after Kelce’s third-quarter touchdown on Sunday either. Following the TD, Swift could be seen jumping down and seemingly saying “let’s f***ing go!” as the hosts continued their rout of the visiting Bears.
Um, yeah, upon further review … they’re obviously dating.
After the game, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was asked if the pressure was on from the “Swifties” — the singer’s passionate fanbase — to get Kelce a touchdown.
“I heard (Swift) was in the house,” Mahomes said. “I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the Swifties wanted him to.”
Travis Kelce has been limited by a knee injury early in the 2023 season — he was in the lineup and making early contributions in Sunday’s matinee — but has seemingly been busy off the field as rumours have heated up that he was pursuing a dating relationship with the international songstress.
Kelce shot his shot with the Anti-Hero hitmaker during an Eras Tour concert last summer and was seemingly unsuccessful but the rumour mill went into overdrive last week with suggestions the athlete and performer were “quietly hanging out.”
Kelce’s brother and podcast cost-host, Eagles star Jason Kelce, sent those rumours into overdrive earlier this week when he told a Philadelphia sports radio station that the rumours were “100% true.”
For his part, Travis Kelce broke his silence on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday, comparing the rumours to a giant game of ‘telephone’ while jokingly jabbing at his brother for contributing to the endless rumours.
“Everybody, please stop asking my brother about my love life,” Travis said.
