I know this all too well because I’m among those that love it and my husband is among those that hate it. That being said, it doesn’t really matter because it’s something that needs to get done.

There are a number of reasons why regular mowing is beneficial. For one the grass will grow healthier and greener because the grass clippings from mowing provide nutrients to the lawn and the consistent cuts help expose the grass to the right amount of sunlight routinely.

Moreover, if grass gets too tall it can create breeding grounds for pests, but make sure not to cut it too short either because weed seeds are dormant in the soil, so if the grass is cut short enough and the soil becomes exposed to the sun it creates the ideal conditions for weeds to grow and spread. Not to mention regular lawn care makes maintenance easier and faster in the long run since there shouldn’t be anything too wild to tame.
