They say: A new face moisturizer that features a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a sun protection factor of 50. The lightweight formula features skin-loving ingredients such as niacinamide to give skin a “radiant boost.”

We say: Our tester found this sunscreen-moisturizer was lightweight yet nicely hydrating. It’s a perfect pick for those who “hate the feel of sunscreen on their face.” Why? well, because it feels like a moisturizer. No greasy slick here. We love the glowy addition of skincare and subtle pearly finish.

Violette FR Balm Amour Nourishing Lip Treatment

They say: A lip balm said to be six years in the making that features vitamin E, peptides, lupin seed and cocoa butter, to provide instant moisture and antioxidants while also building the skin’s moisture barrier for improved hydration over time.

We say: Peptide lip treatments are definitely trending. A large number of It Girl beauty brands have an option on the market. This latest lip treatment from Violette_FR gives lips an instant drink of moisture — without any of the stickiness of some formulations. Our tester also shouted out the smoothing ceramic applicator tip.

Drunk Elephant Amino Rain Glasswater Serum 

They say: A facial serum that promises “advanced hydration.” Ingredients like one-per-cent fermented poly amino acid, dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline, and four types of hyaluronic acid to hydrate, improve firmness and boost luminosity. The skin serum features a “pop of opalescence” for an instant glass-like glow.

We say: There’s a subtle magic to a base skin product that has a pearly finish. It gives skin an instant boost. Our tester applied this serum prior to moisturizer and sunscreen and was pleased with the instant hydration and pearly glow it produced. Layering comfortably with other products, it has become a fast favourite for her summer skincare lineup.
