Kim Kardashian's Skims brand set to offer racy bras with fake piercings

For women who are thinking of piercing their nipples but worry about the pain, there is a solution for that risqué look.

The Skims fashion brand says it will begin selling a brassiere that features fake piercings.

“The Ultimate Pierced Nipple Bra,” the brand captioned an Instagram post revealing its upcoming offering on Tuesday. “Our sexiest bra gets even hotter with a faux nipple piercing design so you can get the ‘Ooo’ without the ouch!”

The American shapewear company, co-founded by socialite Kim Kardashian, said the “daring new take” on bras will be available in shades of clay, sienna and onyx and retails at US$74 ($102).

The intimates and loungewear brand added the built-in faux nipple ‘barbells’ are removable.

The bra comes on the heels of its viral Ultimate Nipple Bra last year, which featured a perky appearance.

And fans of the brand are excited about the new product.

“I actually love thissss bc [because] I’ve always wanted this look but I would nvr [never] put myself through the pain of it,” one person wrote.

Another said she will be buying the pierced bra after undergoing breast removal following a cancer diagnosis.

“As someone who lost her nipples (and boobs) to breast cancer and always wanted to pierce hers before diagnosis, this is everything and I will be purchasing!”

In a subsequent social media post by Skims promoting the bra, one fan questioned why some were critical of the new undergarment option.

“I always wanted nipple piercings because I loooved the look of them through a shirt, but never got them. This bra is perfect!”
