On Sunday, Trump attended a victory rally in Washington, D.C., but it was the women in the president’s life who stood out, namely daughter Ivanka Trump and Usha Vance, wife of Vice President JD Vance.
Ivanka wowed in a gorgeous “off-shoulder crystal and pearl floral-embroidered empire waist gown,” which was paired with a silver stole, according to the designer’s official Instagram account.

Another teaming between Ivanka and Oscar de la Renta shows Trump’s eldest daughter in a camel-coloured cashmere coat with floral detailing over a matching jewel-buttoned detailed dress at a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery prior to Sunday night’s rally.
The designer has since been slammed by some social media users for dressing the women and apparently supporting women tied to the Republican Party in doing so.

Some called the pairing “disappointing,” while another sneered they are “done” with the designer.
“I don’t support brands that support fascists,” one person wrote, while another added, “Fashion — but make it fashion.”
Some people, however, loved that Oscar de la Renta didn’t let politics get in the way of dressing the women.
One user wrote, “Thank you for being classy and putting politics aside @oscardelarenta – this is great.”
Another commented: “Isn’t it time to stop the hate and move forward. Her dress is exquisite and she looks amazing.”
Others described Ivanka and her dress as “stunning,” with one person noting, “Make America Glam Again.”
First Lady Melania Trump opted for a black sequined Carolina Herrera skirt paired with a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo shirt, cummerbund and floor-length tuxedo-inspired wool cape from Saint Laurent with duchess silk lapels, Women’s Wear Daily reported.
It’s the first time Melania wore an American label to any inaugural weekend events, the publication noted.
