Designer Aman Than will share insights and top tips on the best value updates to consider when planning your next home renovation. Finally, learn how to use colour to make the most of small spaces and find out what hues will be trendy next year with colour trend specialist Janice Fedak.
The DIY Centre returns with resident design and renovation ambassadors Desta Ostapyk of Love It or List It, Jordan Spear and Mark Rason.
Learn the basics of using power tools and discover simple DIY projects you can tackle at home. Contractor and TV host Sherry Holmes, also of Holmes on Holmes: Building a Legacy, will host a ‘tool talk’ and provide hands-on instruction on how to use common household tools.
The Ask a Professional booth, returns and offers visitors free 15-minute renovation and design consultations. You’re encouraged to take your ideas, sketches and/or floor plans.
There will also be talks on adaptive and accessible living, net-zero homes and how to save money when renovating or building a custom home, and laneway homes and garden suites for rental income or separate living spaces for family.

The 2024 Fall Home Show takes place Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place.
