With a bold plan to redefine the city’s skyline, Solmar Development Corp. is ready to lay claim to building what will be the two tallest condominium towers in Brampton.
Launched in September, the first of two towers called Bristol Place tops off at 48 storeys and is situated near Queen Street and Main in the heart of the downtown area. A second tower, also 48 stories, will be located at the 199 Main St. N. address.
Angela Marotta, director of sales and marketing for Solmar confirms construction starts in 2023. Suites start at 445 sq. ft. and will include one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom plus den configurations, something for everybody “from first-time buyers, to young families and empty-nesters,” says Marotta. Prices are expected to start in the mid-$500,000s.

Of note, says Marotta, is that the condo will be located right in the middle of what is planned to be a world-class high-tech innovation district with access to a skilled workforce supply.
The Toronto-Brampton-Waterloo Innovation Corridor will be the 2nd largest tech sector in North America, and will feature a central library, flex office spaces and the future head office campus of Rogers Telecom.
Other features include close access to public transit. Bristol Place is steps away from The Brampton GO station with access to all of downtown Brampton and a two- minute walk to the Go Train. Bristol Place is also in close proximity to ZUM Transit and the future Hurontario LRT.
An Electric Ride Share program has also been implemented allowing residents immediate access to a variety of electric vehicles from the convenience of their home via the Kite app.

With panoramic views of the downtown core, Bristol Place will offer residents a dedicated full floor of social, fitness and entertainment amenities, most of them located on the podium’s innovative “green roof”.
Amenities are hotel-inspired, says Marotta, and include a landscaped outdoor space for parties and gatherings with manicured walkways, state-of-the-art fitness facility, party room, an indoor lounge, and business centre.
Rosalea Park is just a short walk away while a number of downtown trails including the Bovaird as well as the Chinguacousy Trail are just a five-minute commute.
