A New Jersey firefighter who called out his wife’s philandering during her birthday bash-turned-divorce party now can throw himself the real thing.
Nick Galante, who confronted wife Samantha Egues in front of their family and friends at his 40th birthday party earlier this month, has officially filed for divorce, the New York Post reports.

Egues, 33, was served with divorce papers on May 17, according to the outlet.
“Nick is ready to move on and put this entire chapter of his life behind him,” a friend of Galante told the Post.
“The trust there is lost, which is sad for their (two) kids,” the pal continued.
“Frankly, I can’t really blame him for (pursuing) the divorce, because he’s still fairly young.”
The couple had been married for more than three years when he turned what initially appeared to be a sweet surprise for his wife into a fiery, angry tirade over her alleged infidelity.
With microphone in hand, Galante confronted Egues, according to videos shot by attendees and posted on social media.

One video shows Galante asking for his wife’s wedding band, which the confused woman handed over.
After planting a hard kiss on her, he seethed, “Yeah, I f***ing know everything. That’s right, b****. I know everything. I had to see his skinny little pale d***. I wasn’t impressed.”
He continued: “I know all about the Plan B pills you had to take,” before adding that he knew about everything she had allegedly been up to.”
Partygoers first thought it was a joke before realization set on what was actually happening.
“The video (of the confrontation) going viral didn’t help,” the friend told the Post.
“There’s really no coming back from that, because it’s going to (live) forever online. It’s sad for those kids.”
