In fact, some have dropped more than 400 spots in a year, prompting their inevitable extinction.

For girls, Jamie is tops on the list of vanishing names, falling 320 spots on the baby website’s annual name analysis data.

Katie was second, dropping 290 spots, while “Remy” toppled by 277 to come in third.

In fourth place was Liv (shortened from the ever-popular Olivia), followed by Analia.

Karina, Belle, Erin, Bristol and Lilia round out the top 10.

As for boys names, Jamal plummeted the farthest — 433 spots in a single year.

Second place went to Esteban, which dropped 283 spots, followed by Cannon, Emery and Taylor.

The fifth name likely to disappear was Kareem, then Idris, followed by Camilo, Matthias and Danny bringing up the rear.

BabyCenter puts out on an annual list highlighting the most popular baby names by analyzing trends from hundreds of thousands of parents who register their newborns.

Other trends experts noticed was the beginning of the end for boy names ending with “-aden.”

Jaden, which peaked at No. 62 in 2002, has been declining ever since, falling 162 spots from its former glory.

Names tied to British royalty are also losing popularity this year with Catherine, Anne, Phillip, Albert and Edward tumbling more than 100 spots.

Catherine took the biggest hit, however, falling 221 spots.

These are the 'most millennial' baby names ever

Like Jamie, which was a top 100 name from 1974 to 1996, other millennials will see their names show themselves out and off the list, particularly girl monikers like Erin, Kelsey, Chelsea, Kendra, and Alexis.

While some “nickname names” are more popular than ever (think Ellie for Eleanor and Liam for William), others are going the way of the dodo.

The No. 1 girl name for the past umpteen years, Olivia, is trouncing its nickname Liv, while the ever-popular Liam is much preferred over Billy.

Katie, for the girls, and Danny and Andy for boys, are all also out.
