After Anita Yuk-Ying Mui, 56, went missing, her body was found on Aug. 12 on private property near Avro Arrow Rd. and Hwy. 400 in McDougall Township — a 2 1/2-hour drive north of Toronto.
Three teens were apprehended, but their exact involvement wasn’t immediately clear.
Police said that Mui was last heard from by a family member during a phone call on the morning of Aug. 9 around 11 a.m.
Later that day, her white 2024 Mercedes-Benz was found near Warden Ave. and Ellesmere Rd.
Police were also looking to identify a white 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter cargo van that they believe may be connected to her disappearance.
On Aug. 13 — four days after Mui went missing — police combed a Stouffville property at 3821 Vandorf Sideroad – just east of Kennedy Rd. – that Mui sheay have visited as part of a real estate transaction.

The trio of accused, who can’t be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have not been charged with murder.
One boy, 17, from Whitby, was charged with firearms offences and two counts of fraud under $5,000.
Another 17-year-old boy, from Toronto, faces three counts of fraud under $5,000.
A 16-year-old, also from Toronto, was charged with fraud under $5,000, failing to comply with a release order and failing to comply with probation.
On Tuesday, York Regional Police said they have identified and charged additional suspects.

Abid Khugiani, 24, of Oshawa, was charged with indignity to human body, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, fraud under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, six counts of traffic in credit card, two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, and weapons trafficking.

Oscar Peidi Liang, 19, of Toronto, was charged with manslaughter, accessory after the fact to murder, forcible confinement, kidnapping, conspiracy to commit and indictable offence – kidnapping, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence – forcible confinement, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
