2 seriously hurt in Pickering shooting

Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after an overnight shooting in Pickering.
Durham Regional Police said officers were called at about 1:10 a.m. on Saturday to a parking lot in the Liverpool and Kingston Rds. Area. for reports of shots being fired.
Officers arrived on scene and located two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre where they remain in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a Brown male with a light complexion, about 6 feet tall with a medium to heavy build. He was wearing a jersey-style shirt and fled the area in a dark-coloured sedan.
