Police say three men are now in custody, including most recently, Teshawn Kerr-Cover, 20, from Brampton, in connection with a string of violent robberies in the GTA, Kitchener and Barrie.
Fifteen minutes later, the Nissan was spotted in an underground parking garage at 4065 Brickstone Mews in the Burnhamthorpe Rd. and Confederation Pkwy. area in Mississauga with another suspect vehicle.
Tactical and Rescue Unit officers attempted to stop both of these vehicles, and the suspects attempted to flee and police allege one suspect — 20-year-old Ridwan Dalmar from Toronto — fired one round from a gun.

Meanwhile, two other suspects — Trestin Cassanova-Alman and Kerr-Cover — who police allege are responsible for the earlier Mississauga pharmacy robbery, managed to get away on foot.
Police said Cassanova-Alman allegedly approached a pick-up truck that had a family in it and ordered them to drive. \
The family fled the vehicle in fear, prompting the suspect to hop into the driver’s seat and drive away with an eight-year-old girl who didn’t have a chance to exit.

She was located a short time later, uninjured, on a side street after being tossed from the truck. The pickup truck was later recovered unoccupied.
A loaded handgun with a 31-round magazine was found in one of the suspect vehicles.
Cassanova-Alman and Kerr-Cover are also wanted in a string of other violent robberies, including Bank of Montreal in Mississauga on July 16, Scotiabank in Barrie on July 17, Scotiabank in Kitchener, Rexall Pharmacy in Toronto and Shoppers Drug Mart in Mississauga, all on July 22.
Police allege the same white Nissan Altima was used as a getaway vehicle in all of the robberies.
