Cops said the victim, a sex trade worker, was exiting their unit when a suspect allegedly forced his way inside, assaulted the victim, and demanded cash before fleeing in a blue sedan driven by a second suspect.

Police say on June 27 the same suspects were allegedly involved in two additional home invasions at condominiums in the area of Hwy. 7 E. and Roddick Rd. and in both cases, the suspects are believed to have specifically targeted sex trade workers.

Investigators have also linked one of the suspects to an earlier robbery that occurred in Barrie on May 6 and search warrants were executed at a residence in Toronto, where stolen property was recovered.
