Police have identified two victims in a fatal daylight shooting in North York earlier this week.
Toronto Police said the two men from Toronto are Ibrahim Handule, 26, and Deshawn Walters, 27.

Police said the victims were shot on Tuesday at 2:17 p.m. in the parking lot behind Toronto Community Housing buildings in the Jane St.-Driftwood Ave. area of North York.
Officers arrived and found two victims with injuries and life-saving measures were performed. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene while the second victim was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

TORONTO MAN, 18, CHARGED WITH CHILD LURING
An 18-year-old Toronto man faces a slew of charges as part of a child-luring investigation.
In a news release issued on Wednesday night, Toronto Police said it’s alleged that between Dec. 1, 2023, and June 3, the accused was communicating online with a person under the age of 16. Police alleged that the accused would communicate with the victim using social media and online gaming platforms. He would allegedly make inappropriate comments toward the victim and sent explicit images to the victim.
The social media usernames used by the accused are “Who_IS_Swift-_-” and “Tjr-m Tyty.”
Members of the internet child exploitation unit began an investigation on July 25.
On Wednesday, Tyler Rojas-March was arrested and charged with three counts of luring a child under 16 years, invitation to sexual touching, attempted sexual assault, attempted sexual interference and making sexually explicit images available to a person under 16 years.

HELP SOUGHT AFTER BRAMPTON BUS SHELTERS DAMAGED
Ongoing damage to city bus shelters in Brampton has prompted Peel Regional Police to ask for the public’s help nabbing suspects.
Police said eight bus shelters were damaged along Ebenezer Rd., The Gore Rd. and Cottrelle Blvd. during the early morning hours of Aug. 28.
On Sept. 8, also during the early hours, six bus shelters were damaged along Clarkway Dr. and Cottrelle Blvd.
During the same timeframe on Friday, police said eight bus shelters were damaged along Clarkway and Ebenezer.
Police said there is no suspect information to provide at the time.
