Officers were notified of a collision Monday at 12:16 a.m. in the Morningside Ave.-Morningside Trail area, Toronto Police said in a news release. A red Ford F-150 truck was travelling northbound on Morningside Ave. before a 38-year-old pedestrian was struck and died at the scene.
Harison Denzil, 27, was charged with impaired driving causing death and was to appear in court on Monday morning.
