Halton cops investigating Swifties being scammed over tickets

Halton Regional Police are investigating ticket frauds to the tune of $70,000 involving the Taylor Swift concert series in Toronto.
On Thursday Nov. 14, police started getting complaints over undelivered tickets. They received about 40 complaints about fraudulent or undelivered tickets in total.
The tickets were all from the same vendor, but no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police say any Halton resident who believes they have been scammed can call 905 825 4777.
Anyone living outside of Halton can contact their local police service.
“Residents are asked to use extreme caution when purchasing tickets and be aware of potential frauds and scams,” police said in a release.
