Man shot dead near after-hours club

A man is dead following a shooting Sunday morning in midtown Toronto.
Toronto Police were called to the Dufferin St.-Eglinton Ave. area around 6:20 a.m. where they found a man with gunshot wounds.
The man in his 30s was pronounced dead.
“The vicinity of the area — it was an after hours club that was operating about the time of the incident. The connection or relation to that is being investigated,” said Duty-Insp. Jeff Bassingthwaite. “At this time, there is no direct connection that we are aware of.”
The man is not being identified pending notification of next of kin.
There is no suspect description.
