Crown attorney Jennifer Strasberg outlined the disturbing allegations Monday, asserting that Martin Galloway, a former Scottish cop and commercial photographer, was one of the trio of BDSM enthusiasts who exploited a girl between Jan. 1, 2000 and Dec. 31, 2006. The girl was 11 in 2000.
Galloway, who’ll turn 59 next month, pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault charge. He’s the last man to face trial.
When Toronto Police busted him in January 2017 at his London, home, and apprised him of the allegations, he replied, “I beg your pardon? That’s preposterous.
“I’m not prepared to answer these questions,” he told police. Earlier, he said he “joined the BDSM lifestyle to a degree, a couple of parties.”
This tepid acceptance of BDSM is contradicted by his online postings in which he extolls the virtues of his lifestyle in 2003.

Jason Dickens
Last October, the first of the three co-accused, Jason Dickens, 48, a former Degrassi High actor, pleaded guilty to child pornography offences in connection with the case, including two counts of making child porn.
The second man, Sean O’Toole, who is now known as Jacquelyn Laronde, 48, of Kingston, is awaiting judgment next week on sexual assault and sexual interference charges.
Jacquelyn Laronde
The victim, whose identity is covered by a publication ban, named Galloway, Dickens and Laronde as the three who violated her at the behest of her mom and stepdad.
The victim provided those names in April 2016, which led to the arrests of the trio, including Galloway on Jan. 25, 2017.
The prosecution has contended the alleged abusers were connected through the BDSM community.

Galloway, whose nickname was Scotdom (dominant), proclaimed in a 2003 homepage-posting: “This year, I am entering my ninth year of my ‘coming out’ predicament.
“How most of us arrived here at the BDSM bus terminal is a wondrous story in itself. For five years, I lived in an underground life of D/S … telling nobody in my normal sphere of friends … until one day the Internet arrived … here bang slap in the middle of my living room was the World I never thought existed … the World of D&S!”
The alleged victim, now 30, will testify on Tuesday.
The victim’s mom already pleaded guilty in 2017 and is now serving five years in prison. She had previously served three years behind bars for incest against the victim’s sibling.
