York Regional Police have charged five suspects and recovered stolen property as a result of Project Dodge Durango, an investigation into a series of residential break-and-enters across York and Peel Region, and Toronto.

On Dec. 13, 2024, a search warrant and numerous items of jewelry and valuables were recovered and investigators have been able to link the accused parties to six break and enters.
A Dropbox folder has been set up with photos of items that have not yet been claimed. Police are asking anyone who was a victim of a residential break-and-enter between August and December 2024 to review the photos and contact police if any of the items are yours.
There will be a process to verify ownership before collecting any property.
Anyone with information is asked to call York Regional Police at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7232, or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or at 1800222tips.com.
