Teenager allegedly stabbed 13-year-old in Oakville park

A 15-year-old has been accused of stabbing a boy who’s two years younger in an Oakville park.

Halton Regional Police said officers were called to Memorial Park on Oak Park Blvd. on Saturday afternoon, where the two teenagers had plans to fight one another.

After the stabbing, the younger combatant was treated at a hospital for injuries and released, said police.

The 15-year-old faces charges of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

One charged, suspect wanted after violent east-end robbery

Toronto Police have charged one man and are seeking another after a violent apartment robbery in which two victims were assaulted.

Officers were called Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. to the Dawes Rd.-Victoria Park Ave. area after two thugs forced their way into an apartment and demanded personal property.

The home invaders assaulted two victims, who suffered minor injuries, inside the unit and fled, according to police.

Masoud Ebrahimi, 32, of Toronto, was charged with breaking and entering, robbery with violence, failing to comply with a release order and other offences.

The outstanding suspect is unshaven, 5-foot-6, 40-to-50 years of age, with a thin build and short hair.

Hamilton Police investigate several break-ins

A group of burglars are targeting businesses in Hamilton, according to police.

Hamilton Police are investigating a number of break-and-enters and attempted break-ins last month by four suspects.

On Nov. 18, two men forcibly entered a business in the Hamilton Mountain area, near Nebo Rd. and Rymal Rd. E., where they targeted the cash register and point-of-sale system.

Suspects tried to break into another nearby business, but were unsuccessful. A third incident was reported in the area, where the point-of-sale system was again the target of the break-in, said police.

On Nov. 19, the same suspects targeted a car dealership near Barton St. E. and the Redhill Valley Pkwy. and managed to steal the point-of-sale system.
