Toronto teen charged with murder in death of 14-year-old boy

A 16-year-old Toronto youth has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 14-year-old Abdoul Aziz Sarr last weekend.

On Saturday around 10:10 p.m., Toronto Police were called to a stabbing in the Eastern and Woodward Aves. area.

Paramedics were flagged down for reports of a stabbing near a fast-food restaurant and a male victim was located with injuries and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

On Monday, the Toronto teen turned himself into police and was charged with first-degree murder.

This is Toronto’s 19th homicide of the year.
